Thank you, Larry, for the great time we had this past week. This was the fourth trip to Pine Point, and your hospitality has been exceptional each year.

I've come to PP each year with a college roommate and our dads. All four of us have a great time and enjoy as much time on the lake as possible, but find our time in your cabin offers all the amenities we need. We engage in friendly competition to see who can catch the biggest fish. This year, I hooked a 17 pound northern pike and an 8 pound walleye. The others did ok as well, however, they couldn't touch my exploits.

We plan to be back for many years to come. Thanks for the GREAT TIME!!!

Hello, I just want you to no that I have been coming to pine point for 4 years and my father and friends have been coming up there for 15 years, we have been staying at fishermans Island and let me tell you it is such a blast and so peaceful,,,If anyone is thinking about staying there let me be the first to say go ahead and have a great time.

I began coming to Pine Point in 1968 when the trip in was a 2 rutted road and the entire camp, which consisted of a few vintage cabins and a couple of rustic campsites, was run by a generator. I have tried to make it to the resort ever since then ( missed a couple of years) because I consider Pine Point and the whole lake my little bit of heaven. In fact I told my family when I pass on to sprinkle my ashes over Millacs. Great fishing - great people - great fun and ooh!! so peacefull !!! See you in August 2002!!!

Biggest Fish I've Ever Seen!


'I just came back from Pine Point Resort on August 30th, 1999.  This was the best trip I have ever been on.  My sister-in-law pulled in a 16lbs.+ Northern.  Oh my, that was the biggest fish I have ever seen.  When weighed in 4 hours later, it weighed in at 15 1/2 lbs.  We had two (2) bald eagles swoop down next to our boat.   It was amazing.  I have never seen so many loons, either.  Great scenery.   I will be back next year.  Thank you so much!!'

'Our first trip to Pine Point Resort was more than we had hoped for.   Our cabin was clean and well maintained and the Pine Point store has everything right there which made our trip relaxing and enjoyable.

My husband was not "big on fishing" and agreed to go because this was what I wanted to do for my birthday.   We had such a good time!  We caught our limits of fish and had some wonderful fish fries. 

We have been returning every year since.'
